The business context
Advisory teams working with clients on B-BBEE ratings needed a more effective way to analyse performance across scorecard components and communicate improvement opportunities clearly. Static reporting limited the depth and flexibility of client-facing insight delivery.
What was delivered
Built an interactive R Shiny dashboard to support B-BBEE compliance analysis and presentation, with sector-specific views and visualisations tailored to consulting and client engagement needs. The platform enabled analysis across core scorecard dimensions such as ownership, management control, skills development, enterprise and supplier development, and socio-economic development, helping advisors interpret current standing and identify areas for improvement.
The practical impact
Improved the quality and clarity of B-BBEE insight delivery through more interactive, data-driven presentations and reports. This strengthened client engagement and gave advisory teams a more effective tool for explaining ratings performance and potential improvement paths.
