The business context
Retail store staff needed faster and more reliable access to product information, stock availability, and quotation support while assisting customers in real time. Existing processes created friction across product lookups, stock checks, and quote preparation, making it harder to respond consistently on the shop floor.
Our development contribution
Working as a subcontracted technical contributor within a partner-led engagement, COGO Data supported the development of an LLM-powered Microsoft Teams agent in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The contribution covered real-time API integration for stock availability and product attributes, automated Excel quotation generation with agent tooling, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation over a SharePoint catalogue for specification queries. Final integration and delivery of the product were led by the partnering company.
